Barcelona Card 2 Days (48 Hours)
The 48-hour Barcelona Card is the shortest and cheapest version of the standard Barcelona Card. It’s built for visitors on a quick city break who still want unlimited public transport and free entry to the city’s major museums, without paying for days they won’t use.
Price
| Price | |
|---|---|
| Adult | €35.10 |
| Child (4–12) | €24.30 |
| Under 4 | Free |
The card is valid for 48 consecutive hours from first use — not two calendar days — so activate it as soon as you land or start sightseeing to get the full window.
What’s included
- Unlimited public transport for 48 hours: metro, bus, tram, Rodalies commuter trains (zone 1) and the Montjuïc funicular, including direct transport to/from Barcelona Airport (L9 metro or R2 Nord train). Night buses are not included.
- Free entry, one visit each, to 25+ museums and attractions, including MACBA, MNAC, Museu Picasso, CCCB, Fundació Joan Miró and CosmoCaixa.
- 70+ partner discounts on attractions, tours and shows, such as −20% at Casa Amatller, −€7 at Casa Batlló and Casa Milà, and −20% off the Barcelona Bus Turístic.
- A city audioguide in 6 languages.
Is 2 days enough to use it?
For a 48-hour trip, the card pays for itself quickly on transport alone if you’re taking the metro or bus more than a couple of times a day, and even more so if you combine that with just one or two of the included museums — a single MNAC or Museu Picasso ticket already costs more than half the card price. If your 2 days are entirely walking-distance sightseeing with no museum visits planned, compare against a standalone transport pass like Hola Barcelona instead.
